We have been together for 15 years & the following is a chronicle of all the hobbies he has had...does currently have & probably will have again in the future... Brad never truly abandons a hobby. It just goes into hibernation while he's on the new shiny glittery hobby. Thus, resulting in the fact that nothing ever leaves our house. It all comes there to stay forever & die.
He got a Ford Mustang as a graduation present from his parents in 1994. Since then, he's always had a mustang or mustangs (yes, that's plural...). Currently, he has a 1999 Ford Mustang GT. It's a nice car & I love to drive it. Sadly, it broke down last year & is now in our basement undriveable collecting dust. It HAS however, become a "holder" of his motorcycle parts...more on that hobby in a moment... Then around 2001-2002, our nephew, Derik, started racing a go-kart under his dad's guidance. We all went to a couple of races & the boys were hooked. Therefore, another hobby under the belt...go-kart racing. And when we have a hobby people, we.go.all.out. No half-assing here. Go big or go home! Brian & Brad bought a hella huge trailer to put all their go-kart stuff in. And Brad more so than Brian (Brian has kids who need to eat...) had EXTRA engines, extra tires, extra extra extra. Again, this was "pbd" & I don't really have pics of them driving them.
Ah, yes, the current hobby. Motorcycles... This is the R6 he bought from my brother (thanks a lot, Jer!).
And, no, riding it on the street is not enough...he races it too...
But then racing his good "street" bike wasn't gonna cut it so he had to buy a "track" bike. Lord, help me!
Of course, you may remember where he "traded" the blue one for the Gixxer...http://thefarmingmcafees.blogspot.com/2009/04/brads-newest-deal.html
Hunting - I must warn you, some of these pics are graphic. C'mon, people, they're dead animals...whadd'ya expect? But if you have a problem w/ looking @ dead animals, please scroll down as fast as you possibly can!Oh yeah, he likes to ski too...
I've spent so much time talking about Brad, it seems only fair to also talk about my fav thing...me.
He wasn't my boyfriend, either. Told ya I was a flirt!
New Year's Eve @ our house w/ Lora & Carrie. We were drinkin' margaritas & playing Yahtzee!
Me & my nephew, Brady. We had been to the truck show & concert in Mar 1999.
I don't know about ya'll, but this post has worn me out! AND, when I tell ya'll something, you're gonna believe me! (Uh, I told ya Brad had lots of hobbies & see? I was totally telling the truth!)
