Our first other McAfee's Annual Christmas Dinner

The other McAfee's have a dinner party every year. And we must've been very good this year - 'cuz we got an invite! I was so excited! I see pics on her blog every year & it looks like so much fun. -So when Daniel threw an invitation into my car while we were sitting on Highway 135 (yea, that's a whole other story) - I never expected it to be that...

And these McAfee's go all.out. Go big or go home is what I say. This is the table. How fancy schmancy is this?!

She told us to take our seats & I got up & said to Brad, "Are there assigned seats?!" And he said, "Oh yeah - there are name tags..."

I stole, er I mean borrowed this pic from Janelle's blog - thanks Janelle!Most of the couples there we know just from being invited to functions at the other McAfee's. But unfortunately - I kinda don't have much in common with them. The ladies are teachers like Alicia & most have small children. Soooo - I don't have a lot to contribute to the conversation when they talk about #1-school, classrooms & teaching kids how to read or #2-breast feeding, being pregnant or potty training. 'Cuz ya'll know I don't know nothin' about any of that stuff. All the estrogen.

Alicia was all excited about playing "Sink the Bismark". Apparently it's a college drinking game but B-rad & I didn't go to college so we weren't sure what the heck it was. But - it was a drinking game & Brad was all in.

And guess who got to drive home?! 3rd time baby!!

I want to thank the other McAfee's for inviting us. Even though we're related - I refer to them as "friends" first - because sometimes families are obligated to do certain things. But they always treat us as friends. We love you guys! We had a great time - & a great meal!
