Official jewelry Christmas par-tay

The jewelry ladies from this area had a Christmas par-tay last night at a restaurant in Salem.
We had the whole basement to ourselves & it was a lot of fun (especially since I got awards & stuff...more on that later...)
So there was a pretty Christmas tree in front of the room - so we took pics. The first pic it looked like the light behind Brad's head was a rat nesting there...so we took another... and I got in front of the light since I'm shorter - sadly I like the first pic better...
In the spirit of full-disclosure, all the jewelry ladies won awards. That's one thing I really like about Premier - they recognize everyone for all their individual strengths. Our leadership here is great. So I won the award for the highest retailing rookie this year...I think I'm one of the only rookies so I probably won by default. But I don't care about that...a "w" is a "w"...
They gave me a little sign that talked about dreams. Gerilee gave me an angel with a star in it hand & Brenda gave me - are you ready for this - her purse... That may sound funny to you - but I have a thang for purses. I was at her house one day & she had this ultra cute brown purse & I was like, "I love your purse!" So after we sat back down, she handed over the purse! How sweet!

I told B-rad to take pics after they announced me. So he took a pic of me walking up - I'm sure he's disappointed because someone was blocking my butt.
After they gave me my award, I told them they had to take a pic with me. And I turned in front of the whole room & said to Brad, "I wanted you to take a pic after I got up here - not of my butt!" Uh-yes I did - have you met me?!
What I love about this pic (besides my smile) is that this is my upline. Left to right: Gerilee (she's my Premier Grandmama & she's in leadership. Me, duh... Then Brenda (my Premier mama) & then Tracey (she's my Great Grandmama. She looks good huh?! She's also a leader...)
We had a white elephant gift exchange. It was really fun how we did it. Girls brought girl gifts & boys brought boy gifts. Gerilee read a story for the girls to pick gifts. It was really cute because it rhymed & each number had a little instruction with it. For example - I had the number 2. So for me she said, "#2, come pick your gift & don't take long - when you're done - you may switch with #1". I've never played a white elephant exchange that way.
After the girls exchanged, the boys had to come up & get their gifts. They had to stand in a circle & in true jewelry lady fashion, they played the left right game with their gifts.
If you've never been to a jewelry show where this was played (shame on ya!)- the jewelry lady reads a story where they use the words left & right & when they say those words, you pass the gift in the appropriate direction. Those gifts were a' flyin'.
