Christmas Day with my fam

We usually spend Christmas Day with my family. Mom makes lunch & we have my grandma's famous homemade noodles. Yum-my!
Many years ago, mom used to paint ceramics. And she's really patient (obviously I didn't get that charateristic from her...) & she did a really good job on them. She dug this one from her archives & had it on the table. I think it's pretty cool... Jeremy & Brad sit around & talk about video games & motorcycles.
Jeremy has 2 miniature pinchers. Mom got them a couple of presents too. She got them a can of "dog cheese". I read the directions to him & it said - "Do not spray directly into the animals mouth". Soooo - Jeremy is a good listener & all & this is what he did...

So it was time for my favorite part (opening presents). Dad is laid back because I gave him his present & he opened it in 2 seconds & he was over presents. Geez - they say I go through presents fast.
One of the things mom asked for was a blood pressure monitor.
So Jer wanted to be the first to try it out.
When we were little, the stockings were always in the kitchen & the main array of presents were in the living room. So we'd tear through all the gifts & start playing with them. Then at some point we'd walk into the kitchen to see the stockings hanging there. And it was like Christmas all over again! 'Cuz mom always had more small gifts for us there. She still does that for us (and even Brad), but now they're in the living room near the other gifts...
All Brad wanted for Christmas was an Ipod touch. The kids have them & we always confiscate them. Mom got Brad one of his very own this year!
Jer opening some gifts.
I got the Kathy Griffin book.
And of course, a Holiday Barbie!
