Our oldest nephew, Derik, turned the big 1-8 on Saturday! And Erin & the girls had come down for a quick visit so before we left for the lake Friday night, so we stopped by Brian & Lora's to visit everyone.
Poor Payton was sitting in the high chair jabbering up a storm. No one would pay any attention to her. Sigh...
Brady said when we walked to the door Madelyn said, "Jaime Jaime Jaime!" Awwwwww...
Derik's an independent guy - ya know, he's 18 & all now. He's an adult! Gulp... And I didn't know if he was going to be coming to the lake Saturday with the rest of the fam. So I asked him, "Hey-do you want your birthday present now or wait to see if you come to the lake?" Dumb question - I knew the answer. He wanted it NOW!
He seemed pretty excited about the iTunes gift cards we got him.

My super cool iPhone has an option when you're taking a pic, you can push a button & somehow it magically turns the camera lense backwards to display your image on the screen. It essentially revolutionizes the self portrait... if you can get it right...
