Dyno night - busted!

Last night was suppose to be a 'dyno' night at S&S in Clarksville. (Dyno night is where you take your motorcycle & they put it on this machine thingie & check out how much horsepower it is. I don't know why it's important?!) But S&S cancelled it because of the small, itty bitty chance of bad weather. B-rad had already made plans to go & so had the rest of some of the motorcycle gang members, so they decided to go & just hang out. It was our first time out on MY new bike, the FZ & with my new gear. It went okay. B-rad had to teach me how to adjust my chin strap because he said, "You're gonna have to figure out how to do it - I'm not doing it everytime..."

I wanted B-rad to take a pic of me & my friend, Shauna. This is the 1st try...
This is the second one... Her hubby kept coming up behind us.
And we finally got this. But Brian is back there making a funny face! A self portrait of me & B-rad.

Brian & Shauna asked us to go out to eat with them. We went to El Nopal in Sellersburg. Brian is a hil-a-rious guy. He makes faces & does voices & he is just hilarious! I really like Shauna - she is a lot like me - what's not to like?!
Anyway, while we were eating, we were talking about Brian working at Pillsbury. He was talking about what he does there with machines. So B-rad asks him, "So do you actually make the stuff or do you just watch the machine?" To which Shauna said, "Brad - do you actually dig the hole & put the corn in or do you just drive the tractor?!" We laughed our butts off!
They asked us to come hang out at their house so we watched a movie & talked. Shauna's dog, Laila, really decided she liked B-rad. She kept jumping up & laying on him. She is a beautiful dog! Thanks for letting us hang out Brian & Shauna!
Even tho dyno night was a bust, B-rad had a good time seeing some of the gang members. He hasn't gotten to go on any rides this year because of the pesky farming thang. So he really wanted to go & see some of them. It was not too bad riding on the fz, it is much more comfortable than the Gixxer. Sadly, the white jacket did get dirty. I know, I know - it didn't take long huh?! I've got a couple of spots of grease on the back that came off the chain. Oh well, it had to happen sometime!
