Miss Madelyn turns 1 year old!

Our great niece, Madelyn, had her 1st birtday party on Saturday evening. Her actual birthday is today. It doesn't seem like its been a year since I got a phone call from Lora at 4am saying, "Erin's water broke & they're going to the hospital." She came 6 weeks early... Me & the birthday girl!
Saturday was also Stanley's birthday so I gave him his present at Madelyn's party. A growing girl's gotta eat!

Cole came over & asked Uncle Brad to push them on that thing that spins around. I'm not sure who was having more fun.

Madelyn has quite an extended family! We were all intently watching her open her presents. She had the biggest stack of presents I've ever seen. It was really funny because she'd open a present & just grin & look at it & then Erin would snatch it away to give her another one to open. She did NOT like that! She would cry & try to turn around to find the super cool present she had JUST opened!

Brad & I got her a "purse". I thought that was fitting since I have such an obsession w/ purses. It's a learning toy as well as a fashion accessory.

She was being a little timid w/ her cake, so her Daddy stuck her face down in it!

The finished product! She had chocolate cake in her diaper & in every little fat roll on her body! Too cute!!!
