On Saturday, Brad needed a pad of paper in the spreader. After I dropped it off, I went shopping!.JPG)
I had a couple of things to get PLUS, as always, I was on the look-out for the elusive garden ornament I haven't been able to find for 3 years that's "just right". Carrie went w/ me & we had lunch. She must've been a good luck charm. We went to Old Time Pottery...& after walking through the WHOLE store...on the way to the front, we saw them.
Cool, funky gazing balls on black stands. I didn't really think I WANTED a gazing ball. Aren't they like SO 1970's? But I've seen more of them lately & these aren't just the plain jane blue or green balls. After debating & trying to figure out which one I wanted, I was set. And the best part? $25 for the whole smash! I emailed Brad a picture of them to make sure they would be sturdy enough to withstand the strong winds that come up the hill (have I mentioned I heart my Blackberry?!) & he says he will probably need to reinforce the stand just to be sure.
When I got home, Brian was @ the neighbors spraying our newly acquired field.

So I sat it out. Now, while I realize it looks kinda small in the scheme of things...I have some things planted that will eventually come up & fill in the blanks (fingers crossed!).
