Line Dancin' baby!

A friend @ work told us about a beginners line dancing class at the Y in Salem. Now, before you say, "Gee Jaime, isn't line dancing SO 10 years ago?" Well, yes, maybe it is! But I had NEVER done it before. Like, I'm such a Loser (w/ a capital L) that I couldn't even do the Electric Slide. But I can NOW!!! :-) And I've since found out that Line Dancing is not really ALL about country music. I mean, they have the corner on the market for sure, but there are other "hip hoppie" songs that you can dance to. For example, we learned a dance last week called The Cupid Shuffle. After I head the music, I realized I had heard it before. While we were in Jamaica on vacation, we were @ a private beach that had a DJ & food, etc & our little skinny Jamaican tour guides got out on the beach & they were doing this cool little dance & I was SO jealous 'cuz it looked like SO much fun. They were doing the Cupid Shuffle & now I know it! Next time, I'll be up there w/ those skinny Jamaican chickies showin' of my skillz! This is us holding our belt buckles. Notice Lora's the only one w/ a REAL one! BTW-Nancy works w/ me & Lora!
No one took my pic while we were dancing, so Nancy got it for me afterwards & I just struke a pose!

Lora's really good! She used to take Line Dancing lessons years ago! I need to work on my hand movements. I just kinda go through the steps & my hands & arms just hang there. But Nancy says (she's the pro, she's been doing it forever!) that I need to get the steps down 1st, then I can worry about my hands!
