Last weekend (yea, I know - I'm behind!) our nephew, Derik, graduated from high school! For those of you that know Derik & his story - you know how important this day was for him & his family!!!
I had to break out the big lense for this one! We sat pretty high up & I had that bad boy zoomed all the way in!

I was lucky I was sitting in front of his dad. He played to his dad the whole time & I was lucky enough to have the lense to catch it!

Love this shot B-rad got of them throwing their hats in the air. The principal told them they couldn't do it. Heck, MY principal told us not to throw ours. But it's like a right of passage. You just have to throw your cap. Grown ups are soooo borrrring...
When we finally found him afterwards, he had already taken off his cap & gown! Pssssh. No worries - I chastised him for that...

Lora had his par-tay the next day. She had SOO much good food! She got the cake from Sandy's in Borden. It looked (& tasted) great!
Cookies... oh, the cookies from Sandy's. They are what dreams are made of. Under the diplomas are caps. The attention to detail is amazing.

Lora brought some things from his younger days & put on the table. I love this one. It's pictures of him from kindergarten until Senior year. I remember them all...

Eric has been kicking around the idea of getting a fancy schmancy camera. So I gladly let him use mine (while I was close enough to make sure he didn't hurt it...) It's funny going through my card to see all the random pics he got. And since the blog is mostly (ok, all) about me, I'm gonna share the ones of me....
