Christmas #1

Erin, Eric & the girls were going to be home this past weekend for a whirlwind tour of families for Christmas, so we decided to go ahead & do Christmas with Brian, Lora, the kids & Erin last Sunday morning.

Lora was going to make breakfast around 10am so we could get everything done & Erin could head back home. I was excited because Lora is a great cook PLUS breakfast on the cruise ship was kinda crappy. I wasn't a big fan so I was looking forward to an 'actual' breakfast! Sausage, bacon & biscuits & gravy. YUM-MY!

B-rad played with Rusty for-ever! His shirt was covered in Rusty's hair! We gave Cole some Army stuff he wanted.
Payton got a Leap Frog dog, Violet. I swear I didn't plan on picking out something purple. It just worked out that way...now I can try to sway her from hundreds of miles away to love purple. Bwah-ha-ha-ha...

Eric helped Madelyn open her gifts. She was really prissy with the paper. She'd tear a bit off & then hand it to him.

We also got Payton a cell phone. She had just woken up from her mid-morning nap so it took her awhile to perk up.

Madelyn got a digital camera. Eric said, "Oh, you can take lots of pictures & be just like Jaime. Greaaaaaaat..."

Brady got a new toboggan thingie & an itunes gift card.

We got Lora a speaker thing for her ipod so she can listen to music while baking in the sun on the houseboat this summer! I also got her some jewelry - shocker...

We got Erin a framed pic of her & Eric from their wedding.

Eric got a Colts calendar. We also got Erin some other gifts (I mean, she IS my favorite niece, after all...) & she had lots of little hands to help her rip open that paper!

(Ok, I would be dying to know what I got her too...so I'll tell you. We got her a US Weekly magazine subscription, a Yankee Candle oil diffuser thingie, a scarf, some stocking holders for her & Eric's stockings & a little cutsie notepad of paper with an 'H' on it...)
We got Brian a weather station thing. You can hook it to a computer & it downloads 5 days of weather info to it. But he had trouble getting it to work right on his computer. Then he got irritated. And started griping. Turns out it was the best Christmas present...ever... Erin said if you pointed the camera at Payton, she would say, "Cheese!" Of course, I had to test that theory! Isn't she the cutest?!

Erin & Eric got Brady this belt buckle. It says 'corn grower'.

I got a new laptop bag. I shouldn't even have to mention the color. Duh...

Cole was really good about letting Madelyn play with his army toys. What I didn't get a picture of is that Payton had that man before Madelyn. And Madelyn chased her down & took it from her. So Cole shares better than Madelyn for now...

Derik was at his dads so he wasn't there when we did gifts. We got him a Fox racing t-shirt & an itunes card.

Also, when I say 'WE' got somebody something...I hope you stalkers know that I totally mean ME. I get everybody stuff. I come up with all the ideas. I execute the ideas. Me, me ,me. No pressure...
