The transformation is complete

Our new couch & recliners finally came in (its been a month!) so we went over Saturday morning to pick them up. We used the in-laws trailer & Brad has motorcycle holder thingies mounted to the floor. One of them is smack dab in the middle of the floor, so Brad had to crawl under the trailer (while the furniture people stood there waiting - thank goodness it wasn't freezing!) & took the bolts out of it so the couch would fit.

While I still have to get used to it - so far, as I sit on my comfy new soft couch - in my living room that smells like a furniture store - & type - I'm ok with it. It just hit me this morning that I have no clue where I'm gonna put the Christmas tree. Oh well - I've got 10 months to figure it out!
Also - we went to the Farm Toy Show to look for Brady & Cole a birthday present. Welllll - if you look closely at the top of the entertainment center - you'll see the tractor & planter right on top. But if you look to the right of it - you'll also see the new toy BRAD had to buy at the Toy Show. While we DID end up finding something for the kids - we also found something for the biggest kid of them all! (Ok- really - these things are collectibles. The 2590 toy we bought is from 1979. It makes Brad sick that he doesn't have all his toy tractors from when he was young. Dang - we could be RICH! No-wait - we could sell them to finance one of his other hobbies!) :)
