Happy 10th Anniversary to us!

Exactly 10 years ago today, Brad & I got married. It really doesn't seem like that long ago. But looking @ the pics, man we were YOUNG! I was 23 & he was 22...yeah, I got me a younger man (but only by 9 months!)

This is the wedding party. In the front are my 2 cousins' daughters, Emily & Brittany. Then from left to right is: Our niece Erin, my friend Alicia Gettelfinger (now McAfee), another friend Havilah Blessinger, me & Brad (duh...), Brad's cousin Matt & cousin Josh, then his bro Brian & my bro Jeremy & my cousin Kevin. The only one not in this pic is our nephew, Brady. He was almost 3 years old & was as cute as he could be. A funny little story about how my parents were fuh-reaked out about my wedding. For the rehearsal dinner, my mother-in-law wanted to change things up & do the dinner first & then do the rehearsal so no one would be hungry and/or cranky @ the rehearsal. Well, my bro & Kevin (who were the ushers) thought they were just gettin' a free meal, I guess, because we all headed to the church & they never showed. This was back in the day before cell phones were on everyones hips & we could not get hold of them. Mom & Dad were pissed off to say it mildly & my dad was cussing them up one side & down the other. They even tried to recruit Alicia's boyfriend, Daniel, to size him up to see if one of the boys' tuxes would fit him so HE could be an usher! Thanks for being willing to help, Daniel! Jeremy & Kevin did, however, show up for the wedding & it all worked out!

Mom had rented a "fountain" for the punch & was at the reception hall while they were putting it up. We didn't know it @ the time, but it wouldn't function properly & she was there messing w/ that @ the same time she was supposed to be @ the church taking pics w/ us. My dad was sitting there waiting (quite impatiently, I might add) for mom to get there. And dad isn't the most quiet person in the world & he pretty much says what's on his mind (hhhmmm, wonder where I get it?!) & he was saying, "Yep, Linda's lost it! I knew she wouldn't be able to handle it!" So in turn, that made ME freak out a bit! Obviously she showed up & all was well, but it was quite a scene!

And we all know I'm not the real "sentimental" type or, as I like to call it, "mooshy gooshy", but I would like to say, "Brad - I love you & hopefully we can survive another 10!!"
