So I'm leaving tomorrow...VERY early in the morning. I'm going to Texas, remember?! And you should also remember - I've made it my life mission to pack for 4 days in only a carry on. And I THINK I'm going to be able to pull it off. Shocking....I know...
This past weekend I traveled west for 2 freakin' hours to meet my friend Rose to pick out the jewelry for our trip & to get pedicures. It started out that we were just going to pick jewelry to go with my Red Dress. The other 5 girls that are going from our group are all going to go out to a nice dinner since I will be hob knobbing with Premier's finest. We decided to also pick out jewelry for Roses' fancy dress.
Since I ALWAYS take too much jewelry (which completely interferes with my life mission) we decided to pick out the jewelry we need for each outfit. Genius plan, I tell ya.
My hubbies need to look at every corn field has worn off on me. I was scouting out the fields out west to see how bad off they were because I knew he'd want to know. Yea, they're pretty bad too.

The corn around Roses' house was shorter than me & it was already tasseling. I wanted to make sure
B-rad could see it to scale...so I posed for a pic....with the poor dying corn... I'm a good wifey...
Next on the agenda was pedicures.
I decided to go with the tre' cool French tips on my toes. My pinky toe is a little weird & likes to go under my 4th toe so she stuffed some cotton in there. Fantastic.
Our last important task of the day was lunch. It was at a family owned restaurant. I got a crispy chicken wrap. This thing was humongous.
It was like the size of my hand.... & guess how much it cost? All that food plus a Diet Pepsi was $8. Seriously. Best $8 I ever ate.
On the 2 hour ride home... I was tired & bored. And this guy in front of me was freaking me out. He kept riding over the yellow line....even when people were coming towards him. I tried to keep a nice distance between him & me. And no, it was not at all dangerous for me to take his picture.
I'm a few posts behind since I've been trying to pack & get ready. I need to tell ya'll about Fourth of July & about the lake last weekend. Sadly, they will have to happen after I get back or not at all because by then they will be seriously old news. Sigh... Miss me when I'm gone mmmm kay?!
