Sam turns 5!

The McAfee's oldest(!) kiddo is turning 5 years old. He's kinda like the Queen of England because he's having a whole weekend of birthday celebrations. Friday night was the 'family' party & we were lucky enough to be invited to that one. His 'friend' party is Sunday. And there's gonna be 23 kids there. Gasp. Can you imagine the chaos that will ensue?! B-rad is a little disappointed because there's gonna be a magician there. Alicia said we could certainly come, but 23 kids totally outranks magician in my book.

Sam had a 'Mario' themed birthday. We all hung out in the basement & had a yummy dinner. They have a sucker tree in the basement. And this thing makes the kids lose.their.minds. Noah has probably never even SEEN B-rad. But B-rad was sitting in the chair next to the table that the sucker tree was on. He walked right up to him, put his arms up & said, "uh uh". So, B-rad picked him up (knowing full well what Noah wanted!)
Jake wanted to share his sucker with Kenzie...by shoving it down her throat... I told you -lose.their.minds! Time for cake! Isn't he a handsome little boy?!

The Mario on the cake really had him puzzled. He kept trying to touch it to figure out what it was made out of.

Daniel's job was to light the candles.

And notice that his sweet little brother was sitting so quietly next to the cake? He just wanted to be next to his big brother on his big day...

WRONG! As soon as Daniel lit all the candles, Jake blew them out! It was hilarious!!!! And while we all laughed & laughed, Sam wasn't too happy about it!

So Daniel did a second take on lighting the candles. Notice Jake's nowhere around this time?!

So uhm, everyone was busy watching Sam open presents. And Jake was reaaaaaaly enjoying his cake.

We got Sam a Toy Story 3 shirt, a Buzz & Woody figurine & a Mario shirt.

And Jake was still eating cake.

Now he's getting serious.

I mean, who doesn't enjoy cake & ice cream on their hands?

I think this is a great pic. I'm sure he knew EXACTLY what he was doing.

But ya can't blame the boy.

If no one tells you to stop, why stop?!

And I wasn't going to tell him to stop.

I was busy taking pics...(by the way - he had moved on to Sam's cake...)

Later in the evening, the big boys decided to play with their toys. Daniel had this really cool helicopter he flew around inside the house.
