2 cool chicks with the same great name & 1 un-freakin'-believable movie!

Last night Jami Leigh Lee & I went to see the 3rd movie in the Twilight Saga: Eclispe! Thankfully I have a friend who likes the series or I would've had to have gone by myself (sniff, sniff)!

We planned to go see a matinee (because I'm cheap...), but we couldn't make a matinee by the time I got off work so we decided to go to a later showing & have dinner first & make an evening of it!

Here we are ALL excited before the movie started!!! Also, Jami Leigh Lee is a good Twilight Saga companion because she is on Team Edward like I am. Now, for those stalkers of mine who aren't Twilight savvy I will explain: there are 3 main characters in the book. Edward (swoon), Bella & Jacob. It's obviously a nasty little love triangle with Bella in the middle trying to chose a vampire (Edward, swoon) or a werewolf (Jacob).

And here's the thing. I've loved Edward (swoon) since I read the first book. I am loyal like that. Haven't wavered, haven't changed my mind. That's just how I roll. Let me explain a bit: Jacob is a buff kid. When he turns 17-18, he finds out he can transform into a werewolf. And the ACTOR that plays him had to become buff as all get out to play the roll....Wellll, SOME people (maybe who haven't even read the books) are all about Jacob. And, I believe, it's strictly based on his physical appearance in the movie. Case in point - while watching the movie last night, when Jacob shows up on the screen, some of the girls yelled like we were at a ball game. Uhm, really?

In the spirit of full disclosure - I did gasp & say, "I love Edward" quite a bit (but quietly...). And I have more of an animated personality (surprised?!) & Jami Leigh Lee sat in her seat quietly. I got to thinking, "Hey stupid, shut up & let her enjoy the movie & quit with the Edward stuff!" Sorry, Jami Leigh Lee if I ruined your Edward (swoon) viewing experience...

And since I'm a loyal, animated Edward (swoon) fan, I decided to go on facebook & state that fact to the world. And I knew it wasn't gonna be popular. I instigated the Jacob fans by stating: just saw Eclipse. It was GREAT! I heart Edward-u team jacob fans can suck it! :). thx for hanging w/ me jami leigh lee! :) Then I got a comment from some chick about how Rob P (the actor who plays Edward-swoon) can suck it compared to Taylor (the actor who plays Jacob). Ok-this irritated me so I lashed back: Lara-pls note I said I heart EDWARD. Not rob or taylor. My obsession is w/ the character NOT the actor portraying them. Immature? Perhaps. Silly? Probably. But this proves my point. Everyone is obsessed with the actors. Not the characters they play & this homey don't play that.

Anywho - I loved the movie! I had a silly grin on my face the whole way home that I couldn't wipe off! I just wanted to listen to fast music really loud all the way home. Alas, I couldn't find any fast music on the 8 channels I love on my Sirius so I had to settle for Faith Hill's "Mississippi Girl". I do love me some Faith Hill...
