Listen, people - my MacBook breaking has really messed my world UP. It broke nearly ONE month ago.
I had an appointment at the Apple Store but I was sick & had to change it. When I took it to them I had to leave it because they were going to have to send it off. A WEEK later it was done & B-rad picked it up for me after work.
The logic board (who knows what that is??) was fried & they replaced it - which also meant they had to wipe my machine clean.
OH THE HUMANITY.
However because I'm an A+ Apple user I had a recent backup (From Jul 11th...) so I had to restore it. I'm still old school & keep a check register for our personal checking account as well as the farm checking account... yet I'm new school enough that I have an app for that... Sadly I had to go back through a month & a half of bank statements to get the info from Jul 11 to current. I got our account within $10 & the farm account within $3.
I consider that a win.
Once I did that I started working on photos. That's when I realized my photo stream wasn't working. UHM this is a major problem. Then I didn't have time at work or during lunch at moms (because THOSE are the only places where I get good enough internet for the damn photo stream to do its thing...) to work on the problem. I was finally able to Google it a bit yesterday at lunch & realized what was going on. I fixed it last night & like magic my photos started pushing to my MacBook & the angels sang.
SO-our 'vacation from one month ago' (if anyone even CARES anymore?) post is getting closer to being thought about (UHM 95% of what you enjoy is my witty commentary - that stuff just doesn't happen, people). I have downloaded the pics from the 2 cameras we took, my photo stream is still working on streaming & I need to get the photos off B-rad's phone that he took & then maybe, JUST MAYBE, you'll get a month old vacation post.
