First & most importantly I GOT MY CAR BACK!
Oh, happy day.
No, B-rad is not allowed to drive it, touch it or breath in its general direction...

As soon as I got in it I took a picture of the odometer so we would know how many miles the car has on it versus how many miles the ENGINE has on it.
Car = 32,997.  Engine = 0.
That will be fun explaining when we sell the car...
A couple of my Facebook 'friends' commented on my parking job from the pic I posted.  Well - there's a story (there's ALWAYS a story...)
When they called to tell me it was finished I asked how much our portion was exactly ($602.31) so I could have the money transferred from our savings account & the check written when I got there.  (YES, I liked to be prepared...)  My mom took me to get it on my lunch break & she sat in the lot waiting for me just to be sure everything was ok.  (She's a good mommy....)  As I waited for the cashier to figure my total, the clock was running on my lunch hour....
She said, 'Ok that will be $800.63.'
UHM.
I said, (not in a nasty tone...) "No, it's supposed to be $602.31.  When Becky called me on Saturday I asked her how much it would be so I could have a check ready.  I wrote it down on a piece of paper & wrote the check directly from that.  The insurance had also told us our portion would be around $600."
(Like I said - I was PREPARED...)
As I waited & waited for the cashier to figure out the difference I finally asked her, "Can I just go ahead & give you this check & get my car & go?  I'm on my lunch break & I don't want to be late.  You guys can figure out if I owe more money - which I shouldn't because 2 people told me $600.  I know Tyson (he was our salesman & now he's the GM of the facility.  She saw him stand there & chat w/ me while I was waiting for her to get her figures straight.)  I come here all the time for you guys to service my car - I'm not gonna skip town on you."

SO-I zipped around very quickly to the front of the building (again - my lunch hour was ticking away!) to let mom know we were ready to go...I really didn't give a crap about how I parked because all I did was jump out of the car to talk to mom, jump back in & off we went.  SO THERE.

I'm sure you guys are DYING to know how much the total was...I was dying to know.  I had to sign the insurance check so I flipped it over to read the amount... it was like $6600.00....  THEN the cashier lady gave me an itemized print out which gave the real total - $7480.56.   It also told what all they did to it - apparently the 'intercooler' (aka the Turbo) was filled w/ water.  That's why when B-rad was trying to get the water out that morning & the water kept coming & kept coming (which prompted him to say, 'WHERE is all this water coming from?')
Apparently it was coming from the intercooler...
I was pleasantly surprised that they had cleaned it up for me.  It hasn't looked this good since the day we bought it.
They even cleaned the plastic mats I have on top of the carpet.  They look brand new.  That little black piece next to the grey is what I have to step over to get into the car.  It's always dirty & I can't ever get it this clean!

I got my nails done this week & THIS was my inspiration from Pinterest:

We changed up the colors & VOILA.
I like the blue...it's light & airy...

B-rad & Brian FINALLY got the tractor free from its muddy prison.  It was in so deep it was sitting on the frame so they DID have to go out w/ another tractor to pull it out.  It was still too wet in the field for B-rad to finish up side dressing.  He's hoping he can finish this weekend.

I recently told you guys about B-rad's 'Wild Kingdom'.  It's amusing to me that as you come up the hill if you look to the left THIS is what you see...
I laugh so I don't cry...

The weather was so pretty yesterday I decided to walk down the road rather than on the treadmill.  ( I LOATHE the treadmill...)  The beans at our house look SO good.  It's like a fluffy, green carpet...
They're probably 3' tall right now & deep, DEEP green.  A lot of beans around this area are yellow in places due to too much water AND lack of sunlight.  I didn't see any yellow beans in our field.
The pods are starting to form & hopefully they will fill w/ big 'ole beans.
Yea, yea it's a beautiful view... but it doesn't make up for not having high speed internet, people.  I could Google views like this all day & night at warp speed if I had high speed...
