Kid patrol

I was on babysitting detail last night w/ my nephews, Brady & Cole, while Brian & Lora went out. I don't really think it's "babysitting", I just can't think of another word to call it. I mean, they're 12 & 6. It's more like making sure they don't burn the house down or kill themselves or each other.

(Don't worry, Lora, they were really good & didn't give my any trouble!)

When they dropped Cole off, Brady was @ the barn w/ Brad. So Cole & I went outside because it was so nice. Sonny didn't mind Cole petting him & hugging him. Sparky wanted no part of it!

That's Sonny again. Sparky ran away & hid the whole time Cole was around! He wasn't gonna let that kid get this close to him!

I started pulling weeds & Cole asked if he could help.

An ice cream sandwich after supper. (I went all out, chicken & stuffing & mashed potatoes. That's a big meal for me to cook. I hate cooking, remember?!)

Brady & I played a little rock band...

while Uncle Brad slept. (He'd had a very late night the night before! :-) )
