Kickin' it old school - Part 2-A

Ok, kiddies, it's MY turn to give ya a blast from the past! It was really funny looking through all these old pics!

This is Dad, Mom & me (6 weeks old.)

This is my Granny Perkins & me. I was 5 months old. I loved my Granny. She died when I was 21. Mom used to take her to the grocery every week & when I was out of school for summer, I'd go too. When I was 15 & learning to drive, I ran off the edge of the road & mom yelled @ me because she had just gotten new tires on her car. And my Granny said, "Jaime, do you want me to spank her?!" I'll always remember that! Also, when my mom went to the hospital to have my brother, Granny said I cried & cried when she left. Then she'd tell me, "if you knew what she was coming back with, you would of cried even harder!"

6 months old. Am I cute or WHAT?!

This is me & my mom. I was turning 1 year old. My mom made me that kitty cat cake!

This pic was requested by my mom. When I asked for all my baby pics, she said (before we even looked @ them), "you have to use the one of you covered in mud"! I think I'm around 2 here.

My brother, Jeremy, is 16 months younger than me. His hair is naturally this curly...mine was not. So mom thought it'd be cute to curl my hair too!

This was our first cat, Callie. Jeremy & I loved her so much! I remember watching her carry her babies in her mouth & freakin' out & yelling @ mom, "Callie's eating her babies!!!" I was 5 here. There were a lot of pics w/ us w/ cats. Funny how I have cats now, he has 2 dogs...

Look closely @ my face. Even @ a young age, I had a propensity to show my emotions on my face...

This is Jeremy's birthday. I don't know what he got, but I was obviously VERY excited about it. Also notice the Incredible Hulk shirt...surely it was his!

I love my face w/ my tongue sticking out! Mom said I would go a million miles an hour @ Christmas!

I also took ballet & tap dancing lessons. Don't hate me 'cuz I'm bee-u-tiful!

I could totally strike a pose! I still do this move sometimes!

This is us again in 1983 when I was 7...

This is us in a more updated version. I think it was 2005. I was, uh, er, 29... The chick in front of my brother was his fiance, Jamie. The little boy to the left of dad was her son, Bryce. Obviously this didn't work out because I said "was". -and if you're wondering if I liked having another Jaime in the family - I didn't. Especially when she spelled her name ALL wrong!

OMG, I told ya I have no shame. I was 9 years old & mom made me this dreadful outfit for some program @ church. I looked thrilled, no?!

I was also in band. Don't be hatun'. Banders are very talented. I am the one on the left. This was in 1992 when we went to the Smokey Mountains. I was 16 years old.


This is another pic of my band buddies when I was a senior (17 yrs old). I am 2nd from the left. You may also recognize a BFF of mine to the right of me...

This is when I went to Florida on spring break for the FIRST TIME EVER when I was 17. My BFF, Jenny, & I flew done there. It was my first time on an airplane too! We burnt our butts to a crisp! Hello? We HAD to have tans when we came back!

This is me & Jenny again on our graduation day in May, 1994. I was 18 years old.

Apparently, Peanut couldn't handle the flash!

Now I know there's more pics of me than of Brad. There are 2 reasons for this. #1-I was WAY cuter when I was little. I can't help that. #2-There were a lot more pics to choose from. I don't know if Brad's mom has baby pics of him stored away or what...but mom had like 3 albums & a huge shoebox full of pictures. But, then again, there were lots of me until the age of 6 or so...maybe the novelty of #1 wore off?!
