It's time for another "Jaime has no shame & will share all her bizness w/ whoever asks!" I decided this time I'd show ya some pics from the "big" vacations we have taken. We usually just go to Florida & stay fo' free @ Brad's Grandma's, but there have been a few occassions where we footed the bill & really lived it up!
In 2005 we went to Las Vegas w/ Matt & Carrie. None of us had been there before. We stayed for a week! Most people go just for the weekend to gamble, etc. but we wanted to see EVERYTHING! I know I've shared some of these before, but too bad...they're like bad pennies & just keep showing up!

If you notice, my face is the most lovely shade of red. This is because we were on the surface of the freakin' sun! It was hot, hot, hot! We had JUST gotten there. All we did was go to our resort to drop off our luggage & we were out the door to sight-see. The Coca-Cola store was the first place we stopped.
At Harrah's they had a showgirl taking free pics! The boys loved it! They took one together, & then we went back (when a different showgirl was on duty, duh!) & they got their pics taken individually!
We went to the Hoover Dam, which was VERY cool (not temperature cool - it was over 100 degrees the day we were there...it was gonna be a record setter!)
We also drove 5 hours to the Grand Canyon!
We also decided to drop the $600 a couple it cost to fly over the Grand Canyon. I wasn't real keen on paying that kind of money, but it was TOTALLY worth it! The pilot talks about the Canyon & shows you things you could NEVER see by just looking out over the edge!.jpg)

We took a self portrait while we waited for the concert to begin. Boy, do we need practice. But I look better than Brad, so I don't care, I kept the pic!
They have like 13 roller coasters that are the new "magnetic" rails. They are smooth & hella scary! I screamed so much @ the concert & then riding the rides that I lost my voice. ( I know, hard to believe!) 
I have to tell ya the story of, James, the assistant cruise director. Isn't that what life's about, sharing?! Anywho- I heart James. Like so much heart him that we played bingo games because James was SUPPOSED to be there. Then he wasn't & I was sad. Then, he came into the room after bingo & Carrie asked him when he'd be doing another game & he told her & I just put my head down & made circles in the carpet w/ my feet (then we TOTALLY went to THAT bingo game :-) Him & the main cruise director did a little morning show & they replayed it on our tv's all day. I'd watch it over & over when we were in the room! I was like a little kid that had a crush (he was gay, but details, schmetails). He was from London & had that cute British accent & I wanted to be where ever he was. One night after dinner, we were getting on the elevator & the doors opened up & I saw him. I said, "James, is that YOU?!" & I can't EVEN describe the way he waved (but it was totally gay) & he said, " 'Ello!" So I asked if I could take a pic w/ him & he said yes & there ya have it! I was giddy!

Yeah, I'm nutty like that. This was my pbd (pre-bloggin'-days) so I don't have many pics. But here's one of miss Faith for ya!

Since Cleveland has the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, every where you look they have these guitars. (Kinda like Louisville has all those Derby Horses around town...) This one was in the lobby @ our hotel.
When I was begging Brad to let me go to Cleveland to see Faith, he said he thought there was some amusement park there that had some really cool rides. This way I got a concert & he got to ride some rides. Everybody wins see? Anybody heard of Cedar Point?!

We're suckers like that, so we did it. I bought a few & even gave some as Christmas presents. They tell you that you can't scan them & reprint them because they will say "Carnival" all over them...LIARS! I scanned the one below!
