Cruisin' day 7 - a not so fun day at sea, I'm ready to come home & dance par-tay!

Thursday was our next to last day of vaca. And by this day - I was ready to come home. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going places, but I am ALWAYS ready to come home. Ya know - my own bed, my own house, my own stuff?
We had really bad weather this day. It rained off & on ALL day. Plus there were 8' swells in the ocean. That caused the boat to move - a LOT. Most of the fun events happening outside were cancelled. Sigh. I got a good long nap this day...
We were still able to get dressed up for dinner. Our waiter is on the left, Cornelius. He.was.incredible! He was a GREAT waiter & very sweet! The waiters do a dance for you during dinner!
Donna had had a few drinks so she was willing to get up & shake her groove thang with Cornelius!
Carnival's motto is "Fun for All. All for Fun." And they mean it. There is constantly something happening on the ship to get you involved or just to have fun with. They have a 'colors' battle throughout the week. They break you into teams based on what deck your room is on. We were on the white team. They had a 'colors' party going on this night. Basically what you do is go to the different clubs on the ship & do different activities to earn points, then ALL the teams meet on the Lido deck (that's the pool & food deck) to have a giant party!
I really wanted to do it because I didn't get to on our last cruise because I didn't feel well that night. We started at the dance club, Caliente, with the cruise director Butch. I know the pic sucks, but we were on the dance floor doing the twist & Butch was gonna pick who he thought was best. Donna was twistin' it like she stole somethin', but I was right beside her & couldn't get a good pic! Curses! I wanted Butch to pick her...sadly another hussy won...
B-rad, me & Matt pre dance par-tay!
We went & sang Karoake at one club. I took no pics because the machine was messed up & it kinda sucked. Our next stop was with our assistant cruise director, George. He taught us a disco dance! This is me 'washing the dog - a tall dog'.... He let the girls go first, then it was the guys turn. And B-rad had my camera so I couldn't take pics, but I was SOOOOO proud of him. He got out there with the other guys & did the whole dance! It was hilarious! He was a really good sport!
Up on the Lido deck all the teams did several dances! And B-rad was right in the middle of them too! I even taught him to do the Cupid shuffle on the fly!
Matt's not so much the dancin' type. He sat on the side-lines & laughed at all of us. But hey-that's ok...I'm not a drinker & I sit on the side-lines while they all drink... We all have our roles...
This was our last towel animal of the trip. And they really out did themselves. A monkey. Hanging from our balcony door. Freakin' amazing...
Next up - our last day. B-rad says, "sniff, sniff", I say, "Yay! I get to sleep in my own bed!"
