Erin's bridal shower

Saturday was Erin's bridal shower! We had it at the new community center in Palmyra & it's really nice.
I made Erin pose with the food... we just had finger foods. Cheese cubes, crackers, veggies & chips & salsa.I am perhaps most proud of these silly cupcakes. I didn't want to get a cake like I did for the baby shower, so I decided on cupcakes. Then I found out that you can get 30 (15 chocolate & 15 vanilla) at Sam's club for $12.48. Seriously...that's a deal!I had them just put white icing with a red rosebud on them. Erin's flowers are going to be red roses. The party goers working on the bridal word scramble. From left to right is B-rad's Aunt Doni Ann & his cousins Andrea & Leslie. UHM, I hate them. And I'll tell ya why. After a couple of games, I let the guests eat while Erin opened gifts. I run a tight ship! I didn't wanna be there all afternoon & I'm sure the guests didn't either! I digress...ok-I hate them because they are are so stinkin' creative!
Their gifts to Erin were all personalized! This wine bottle has their engagment picture on it! They also got her a couple of other things but I can't remember them... I know something had their invitation on it too. Jealous!!!My gift to Erin was just some silly ole outside mat with an 'H' on it. Hmph.... Madelyn wanted to help mommy open her gifts!
Erin got lots of things from Bed Bath & Beyond. So there were a ton of purple ribbons laying around! Hea-ven! I tied one on Miss Madelyn & she thought she was tough stuff!
Erin with 4 of the 6 girls in the bridal party. Left to right: Rachel, Stefany (matron of honor), Erin, Amanda & Erika.
I definately got a seal of approval on the cupcakes from Madelyn. While we were cleaning up, she was stuffing her face with another one!
Thanks to everyone who came to spend this special day with Erin. I know she appreciated it! (And I guess we'll excuse the preggo lady who was sick & couldn't come...)

Looks great. Eating while opening gifts is a great idea. Run the tight ship girl, I totally get it.
