My brother is an "Ironman"

Don't let the title confuse you - my brother is NOT Robert Downey, Jr...but how awesome would THAT be? I'd have all kinds of dough since I'm his only sis.

Ok-I'm off topic. My brother, Jeremy, went to Orlando this past weekend for the Ironman competition. It was a half Ironman. I've been begging & crying & pleading w/ the crew that went w/ him to get me pics. I was finally able to get some off Facebook. Geez-does no one appreciate blogging?! (P.S.-he says he's gonna get me more pics - but he's too slow...if he sends me some that I think are worth sharing-I'll let ya know!)

There were around 3000 people who registered & only 2150 finished. Jeremy's total time was 5 hours 57 min & 33 seconds which made his place 963. Middle of the road but not too bad for the first time! I told him he should just be proud he did it! He was #122 out of the 239 that registered in his division (male 30-34).

Jeremy's "nickname" is Jballz & I think that is funny. Hannah showed her support by writing in the sand.On the left is Jeremy's friend, Derek. Jeremy is on the right. Nice riding shorts!

He's been training forever for this damn swim. But he didn't do too well...I asked him if he was nervous & he said he wasn't until he got face down in a huge f*&^ing lake!

He placed #124 out of the 239 in the bike division.

And he kicked major bootie in the run. He was #58 out of 239!

I'm pretty proud of my little brother. I mean, he eats practically nothing. He trains all the time. He's dedicated... and then...he wears a shirt like this...in public...
