My bday dinner

My mom always cooks whatever we want for dinner for our birthdays. Since this year my bday falls on Mother's Day (which I hate, 'cause I don't like to share...), we had my dinner last night.

Triple chocolate cake...yum!
I got my Twilight DVD & was SO happy!! It came w/ a free itunes download of the movie! (unfortunately my ipod has been "misplaced' & I have to wait to get another one...) Ok, I promise I'll stop w/ the burglary references. Maybe...

Then, somebody - I think it was my brother-he loves to ruin my happiness - pointed out it was a Blu-ray...& we don't have a blu-ray player. Then I was SO sad!

I collect Barbie dolls & every year for Christmas, mom gets me that years Holiday Barbie. She asked me if I'd like to have the Kentucky Derby Barbie. And even though I dislike Derby (it's not so much the "Derby"...it's the news media inundating us w/ Derby festivities & Derby horses & Derby picks for months BEFORE the Derby), I said, "Sure I want it". It's Derby I don't like, not Barbie...
After I opened my presents, dad started in telling us how young people these days have "too much". We don't know what it's like to not have anything. "He didn't know what electric was until he was 7". This may be true, but it's not our fault that God created the internet & Blu-Ray players & Ipods & cell phones & digital cameras!

Mom & Jeremy

A guy at Brad's work won Comedy Caravan tickets off the radio. He also won them last Friday night too! After dinner, I went home & took a nap (there is NO way I could've stayed up for the 10:30 show!) & we headed over. The show was really funny & it was even better 'cuz it was free!
