I am SUCH a dork!

I like to read, but not as much as I like to watch TV...I normally tend to gravitate to "true crime" books. You know, the stories where the crazy husband kills his wife & puts her in a wood chipper to chop her into a thousand little pieces. Or biographies. I read one about JFK Jr that was REALLY good....you see what I'm getting at.

So I've heard lots about this "Twilight" book. You've heard of it. A story about vampires. They've made it into a movie. Apparently it's all the rage w/ the kids. Yeah, I may be a little O-L-D for it but what-eva! I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm tellin' ya, it's a GREAT book! It was a little slow to start, but once I got into it, I didn't want to put it down. That's the sign of a really great book. (BTW-I read Tori Spelling's biography in like a day - seriously! It was good!)

Anywho, I don't want to give anything away, but it's a TRUE love story between a human girl & a boy vampire. This is where the dork in me comes into play...while reading some of it, it was so descpritive & I could just picture what was going on & I...I...started to tear up...Now, before you laugh your asses off, cut me some slack...I'm PMS'ing & that could be the cause of some of it. But the story is VERY sweet & I am hella-excited to read the next book in the series.

The book is pretty long, so if ya ever find yourself on a long car trip or a plane ride, check it out! It's a good read!
