There's a beginners class (which obv is the one I attend) & an intermediate class that the seasoned line dancers go to. Well, Nancy comes to both classes 'cuz she says it's such good exercise. Plus, she helped me out & I'll tell ya how!
First, someone was REAL serious last night & wore her official line dancin' cowboy boots! And I'll give ya a hint...it wasn't me or Lora! LOL!
The teacher taught us a dance that's from the movie "Slumdog Millionaire". You know, the one that won all those Oscars? I've never seen it. But apparently there's like a "Bali" style dance sequence in the beginning she taught us. It had HAND movements too! It wasn't TOO bad, except when she taught us a little foot sequence thingie she was not in front of the wall of mirrors so I couldn't see her feet & I was Lost, w/ a capital L! So we did the dance (me not so good though) & after Nancy helped me w/ the foot part thingie!

I am waiting for the day when I can do more than step to the right, together, step to the right, together. Then heel & heel & heel & heel. They do spins & all kinds of crazy stuff that looks SO fun!
