A few errands

Brad's work has another building in Corydon. We had to take his dad's semi there yesterday after work so the Corydon people could get it loaded w/ engine stands or B52 maintenance stands or something. I'm sure Brad will correct me! LOL! Anywho, we went to the barn to get the semi. Just to explain, the "barn" is the home base... the hub... the nerve center, if you will -of our farming operation. Obv there's a barn there & a scale trailer (which for you non-farmers is a big set of scales they drive on that weigh trucks, grain carts, etc to see how many bushels they have.) And that's where the grain bins are & all the equipment is stored & when their parents are home, they live there too (not in the barn... :-0)

When we got there yesterday Brian was unhooking the box scraper.

My nephew, Cole, was riding his little motorcycle when I got there. He rode right in front of my car so I told his daddy he needs to teach him not to ride in front of moving cars!
He's such a ham! I told him I would take his picture & he sat down on his 4-wheeler & struke a pose!

Then he took off & I hear this "JAAAAAIIIIIME" & turn around & here he comes!

On the way to Brad's work, we passed this place & I thought the name was funny. Uhl's Feed AND small engine...what a combo!
Brad drove through these big ass holes that would've swallowed my Explorer.

When we were leaving - tragedy struck. There was a pallet of thingies (I can't remember what Brad said they were) laying kinda in the road & I backed over them! They were these long skinny metal things. I backed over the pallet too! It made a horrendous noise. I was afraid I'd busted a tire. But Brad got out & looked under my car & I had bent my brake line. Now I'm all checkin' under my car for brake fluid. Brad called me a jackass (yes, we believe in tough love @ our house!) & told me he was glad he didn't do it. (Remember how I love my car? These things upset me! Yes, I woulda been hella mad @ him, but I was hella mad @ myself. I just can't yell @ myself like I can him. People would think I'm weird...)
Brad's truck has been acting up lately so we went to AutoZone while we were in Corydon to buy a starter. $172 later we were on our way. When I took this pic, the guy @ the register was like, "Did you take a picture of me?!" And I was like, "No, just the display thingie." He told us, "Yeah, well, I put people in jail & I can't have my picture getting out!" So I asked if he worked under cover or something & apparently when he was 19 (he's like 40ish now) he helped lock up a guy who had him purchase alcohol & the cops approached him & said they had been looking for this guy & he led them to him. Uh, ok. So he helped put 1 guy in jail & all of a sudden he "puts people in jail" as a side job when he gets off work @ AutoZone?! Fuh-reak!
