A pictureless potpourri of information

Sorry - I've done nothing lately ya'll wanna see pics of. Unless you wanna see pics of me printing jewelry show invitations. Or doing home shows. Or me jazzercising...more on that later....

The March for Babies is tomorrow - & I cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye - to take pics. After the walk there's suppose to be 'fun' stuff to do...I'll be the judge of the 'fun' level.

I'm a little hurt that no one has taken me up on my offer of going to Wicked. But I choose to believe it's because of the price of the ticket. NOT because you'd get to sit by me the whole.entire.night. Hmph...

Next, B-rad's got drama. BIG drama. Like ultimatum "go to GERMANY (gasp!) or quit your job" drama! Whaaaaa?! I'm a little un-easy about what's gonna happen. I mean, we have a lifestyle to which we have become accustomed. Like having air conditioning, electricity & food -ya know -pesky stuff like that. And if he quits his job & I have to give away my dvr - I will be devastated.

My new toy has been shipped & I am SO excited to tell you about it. But I will wait (ugh you know that kills me) until it actually arrives & I can take pics of it & share!

I had a jewelry show in Crestwood Wednesday night at this place called Applepatch. It's a community for mentally impaired people. One of my hostesses works there & one of the residents wanted to have a show. So all her friends showed up with their house 'moms'. I basically just set up the jewelry & let them wear it. They were SO excited! And it was SO fulfilling for me because they were just happy to be there. And they were happy I was there. And they felt pretty because they had jewelry on. They hugged me & told me they loved me. How sweet! And one lady named Lisa, liked her bracelet SO much she wouldn't take it off. She kept saying, "It's Lisa's!" So I just sold it to her right off the table. Who am I to take away her joy? I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous about how it all would work. So I talked to my hostess before the show to just make sure I was on the right track with presenting my 'show'. I just had to change up my normal routine & everything worked out well. The young lady that had the show is getting over $200 free! How exciting for her!

And something new I've been doing that I haven't mentioned is Jazzercise. Alicia & Denise convinced me that I would like it since I like to shake my groove thang when I line dance. So I thought, "what the heck? If I dont' like it - I will blame them!" But turns out, I DO like it. I really, really like it. I like it so much that on the days I have shows & can't go I am sad. And I have even been to a couple of classes on a SUNDAY morning. I'll hold for gasps... I can't do Alicia's class because of the times she does it. However, Jami Leigh Lee & I (& perhaps Denise?!)are going to do a class she's instructing next Sunday. I plan on blogging about it. I already have a title.... tsk, tsk would you expect any less?!

So to recap - still busy, still no pics, B-rad may be unemployed soon & I just ordered a new toy that cost a lotta money. Whoopsie...

WHAT IN THE HECK DO YOU MEAN BRAD MIGHT NOT HAVE A JOB?????? I'm confused as heck. He's a farmer!!!

Um, the reason I didn't take you up on the Wicked thing, is totally because of the cost, sorry.

I actually teared up reading about that jewelry show you did, what a great thing you did!!

Also, it didn't show your blog updated.....

Ginmommy-Brad has 2 jobs. 1 where he gets paid :) & farming. He works at a machine job by day as the supervisor. They make all kinds of cool stuff outta hunks of metal. The big contract right now is for 'engine' stands. Like, when an engine of an airplane needs to be taken out of & worked on - the engines get put on an stand that Brad's company builds. He had to go to the airport one day to UPS' hanger to look at their stand. He said it was like getting into an army base!
No prob on Wicked-totally understand. But Brad's upset w/ you. Sorry...

I so would have taken you up on the Wicked offer, but like Gretchen it was a little too pricey.

I hope I can make it to Jazz on the 16th. Here's the deal, Steve tries to go a friend's house a couple of Sunday's a month. For some reason he didn't go last week, will most likey stay home again this week b/c of Mother's Day an all so I willt ry to get him to stay home a third Sunday, not for sure if it will work or not. They don't have childcare on Sunday so somebody has to stay home with the little guy.

I'm so glad that you are loving Jazzercise. I have already warned Dan that I am going on the 16th, and I'm so excited about seeing you there!

I can't wait to find out what your new toy is.

I wish I could have been a fly on the wall at your show. I'm sure it was so fun. That was a great thing for you to do.

Alicia, I have a request for Sunday's class. . . Black Horse and a Cherry Tree. I was so pumped when you did that one the other day. It's one of my favorites. ;)

Since everyone else is making requests, I'm going too as well! :) I like the John Mayer/Taylor Swift song. We swing our legs & then our arms too. Also-a song idk the name of, but we do sashe' thingies & then jabs, then elbows. I do love me some jabs! This class is gonna be 3 hrs long by the time we're done! :)
