The other McAfees' oldest kiddo turned 4 on Friday & they had a party for him yesterday. And since we're McAfee's too - that makes this little guy Brad's 2nd cousin. But since Alicia & I have been friends for-eva - that makes him our friends' kiddo too. What a tangled web... (Look at me making a Spiderman reference...)
So the other McAfee's are always so gracious to us & include us in all their gatherings. And this birthday extravaganza was no exception. The theme was "Spiderman". And this is something I just love about Alicia - she goes.all.out. Tableclothes, the cake, favor bags, tattoos & a pinata - all Spiderman! What great memories she makes for her offspring!
There was also a bouncy house thingie in the basement. Brad was SO excited to play on it - but Alicia said there was a 200 lb limit - & he thought he better not - just in case...
It's always a wild time when you get that many little ones together. But I must say - all the kids in Sam's posse are very well behaved.
Little Grace got to take the 1st swing at the pinata. But I think if I had that bat with all those boys just sittin' there behind me - I might've had to "accidentally" swing in their direction (no, not to hit them! Just to make sure they knew not to mess with the chick! Just sayin'...)
Finally - CANDY! They pounced on that candy & started shoveling it into their hands. But never fear, Miss Alicia (aka party planner) had the Spiderman favor bags for them to fill up & take home. See the method to her madness?!
This year, we got Sam some Case tractors. I told them they need to bring him out sometime to the farm & ride around in a real tractor with Brad.
'Cuz I saw a blog post from them where they visited a...a... farm - gasp! And I was a little hurt. I mean - uh - they don't know anyone else that has a...a...farm?! (Ok-I know I don't have any cute little lambs or nothin', but I DO have 2 black cats - hello?!) So Alicia pointed out that I've never "invited" them to the farm. But I say details schmetails. They don't need a freakin' invitation. They are welcome anytime! (And the invite extends to you as well, Ellnor's. I saw you visited that farm too... :)

Thanks for the invite to the farm! We may take you up on that. I mean, us city folk enjoy the novelty of farm life every now and then. A ride on a tractor? We're in!
