I have been scolded (twice) - and I hang my head in shame.

So I haven't posted for like, uh - a week. And trust me, it hurts ME more than it does YOU. I got a comment (thank you, Alicia McAfee) that she thought maybe the blog has been dis-banned? And that was just the kick in the rump I needed to get my creative juices flowin' for a post... Then I got a lovely text from my hubby this morning that said (& I quote...) "You so have to update the Blog. Loser! You're gonna start losing followers!" And that was the straw that broke the camels back. They are right - I am a slacker & there is no excuse for it.

But here' the thang - even though we were doing stuff all last week - we didn't do anything I considered "blog worthy". And trust me, I was running my little brain a thousand miles a minute thinking of ways to make the crap we were doing into a comical blog post. I came up with nada (that's nothing in Espanol...).
Soooooo-since you asked for it - you're gonna get it. You're welcome Miss Alicia & B-rad!

Monday, October 26 - I can't remember.

Tuesday, October 27 - It was pouring down rain when I got home from work. My garage door wouldn't open. So I had to get out in the rain & walk to the door, unlock it & go in. Oh the humanity! Come to find out - the spring on my door had broken (thank goodness I wasn't trapped inside when it broke). We went to New Albany to Home Depot to get a new one for Brad to fix it. Then we stopped by the Bye's to show them B-rad's new ride. Matt had bought a Harley at the end of summer & I hadn't seen it yet, so he showed me his new ride too!

Wednesday, October 28 - I had an appointment at the allergist for my yearly checkup. And what made this visit so spectacular is that I was told I could quit getting my allergy shots - quit taking the medicine - quit using my nasal spray. And while I'm happy to be medication free - I am perplexed that the allergist trusted me enough to let me quit cold turkey... That evening Brad & I had to drop his truck off at the dealership to have some things repaired that were included in the sale. It's WAY out Bardstown Rd & it takes like an hour to get there from our house. That's 2, count 'em, 2 hours round trip. When I got there in my hella awesome Explorer-the salesman came up & was like, "Hey, this is a nice car!" And I said, "Yea, I know - and keep your mits off!"

Thursday, October 29 - We had to go back over to WAY out Bardstown Rd to pick Brad's truck back up. 2 hour ordeal remember?!

Friday, October 30 - I had a jewelry show. And let me tell ya, it was one of the most awkward positions I've been in doing these things. The hostess kept whispering to her friends where she OBVIOUSLY didn't want me to hear. It made me VERY self-conscience. THEN she kept calling the jewelry fake. Whaaa? I bet she won't be bitchin' about her fake jewelry when she gets $300 of it for free... This was also night # 1 of the loyal & faithful steeds sleeping in the basement.

Saturday, October 31 - Since my loyal & faithful steeds are black cats - I'm all worried about someone trying to get them on Halloween. And probably nothing would happen since we live out in the middle of nowhere - but I'm not willing to take that chance. So, Friday night they came in & they slept in the basement. I have blankets down there & food & a litter box. (They also get to sleep down there in the winter when it's hella cold outside.) They came in again Saturday night. Sonny loves to lay on the bed. (By the way - I'm allergic to cats...bet the allergist wouldn't have trusted me so much if she'd have know I'd be laying around with cats all weekend...) He was laying in bed with me that night & Brad says, "Hey, why don't you just let them stay up here tonight instead of making them go into the basement?!" Um, well - I wasn't REAL keen on that 'cuz I don't wanna get that crap started. But I said "Ok, I'm game..." Well, the game was over at 5 am when Sparky was meowing & woke me up. Of course, B-rad can sleep through a freight train colliding with the house so it didn't bother him one bit. So I got my happy bootie up at 5 am & put them outside. Don't judge me-Halloween was over & it was gonna be daylight soon. But they WILL NOT be allowed to sleep upstairs anymore. Also on Saturday, Brad & I went to Corydon to pick up some supplies for the tractor. Brian was gonna do it, but he called Brad Sat. morning & was feeling sick & asked him to do it. While we were eating lunch, Brian called Brad to say he was feeling achy. I said, "Tell him to stay home & to stay away from you..." So Brian listened (that's a surprise) & he stayed away from the barn that day. I laid around most the day & caught up on all the shows on my DVR.

Sunday, November 1- I don't know how many different ways I can type it, but I laid around again on this day & watched more tv. I had taped the movie, "Milk" & watched it. It was actually pretty good. It kept my interest & if movies don't keep my interest in the first 30 minutes, they get de-leted! Brian went over to the barn & he & Brad changed the brakes on one of the trucks. They were working in close proximity together - which leads me too...

Monday, November 2 - Brian has the flu. And Brad has not had a flu shot yet. He's on a waiting list at the Doctor's office. So I texted Brian & told him "if Brad gets the flu-I will hunt you down & hurt you."
