Flashback Friday

Last year at this exact time - we were here:

We spent a lot of time on the beach.  Ugh.  

Yea, yea it's very pretty...for about 5 minutes...then it's just boring.

We took a teeny tiny plane all around the Big Island.

And got to see real, live, scalding hot lava.

B-rad tried numerous times to fall into gaping holes from days of yore in the National Volcano park.

We got to see Kilauea up close & personal.

We went to the very end of Hawaii.

And how can you forget the most epic picture ever?

Rhonda & Butterfly got the chance of a lifetime to take a practice swim of the Kona Ironman swim course since Butterfly choked & didn't qualify for reals.

We saw 9,432 rainbows at the Volcano Park.

 Pearl Harbor.  Simply incredible.

The 2 Major McHotties driving the ferry.  Also incredible.

We ate Sushi.  B-rad was thrilled about it.

I was thrilled for a photo op.

Mom was NOT thrilled...at all...
