who's not blogging lately! Sheesh, you guys have been out blogging me big time!
(Maybe we (I) need a blog off?!)
Ginmommy is posting every.single.day. Either Armageddon is upon us or she's so bored in Michigan she has nothing else to do...
JLL has a ton of stuff going on between major destruction around her house & Cooper growing up WAY too fast...
Tracey, well Miss Tracey has laid the gauntlet down. She has really stepped up her blogging game. She's been stalking her favorite qb (yea, that's right - I know Peyton's a qb AND I know what that means... so there...)
Alicia is always a prompt blogger so she doesn't count...although she did have me wondering last week if she was dead...
And Jaime Mac? Well, Jaime Mac's been a busy gal. But nothing you guys care about. Too bad for you I feel left out so I'm gonna make a post about boring stuff.
This was the first week I didn't have any jewelry shows. I was excited to get a break, but then some things happened & I got super busy again. I was asked to help with our November training & I put it all together & asked other ladies to help train on things I know they're good at. I asked my jewelry friend, Debbie, to help me show some jewelry combos because she's incredible at that. I went to her house last night & spent 3 (!) hours talking & chatting & we did manage to get some combos lined out!
I've had 2 ladies join my Premier family...at the same time. This is great news, because now I have 5 girls under me & that makes me a Builder. Ya'll don't know or care what that means, but it's really cool. It also means I should get a free jewelry certificate from Premier. (Holla for free jewelry!) The girls came over Wednesday night for some official jewelry training & that went really well. They're both excited & that makes me excited! Sunday through Tuesday was spent cleaning like a mad woman with my hair on fire in preparation for our guests. I hate to clean. Have I mentioned that?
I am trying to eat better & drink more water. It sucks by the way...the food is not nearly as fun & I have to pee 450 times a day... So in my quest to eat better, I've been trying to make better meals when possible. (You know - with real ingredients & measurements. Not a pre boxed dinner. I love Hamburger Helper...) I dug out a crock pot we got as a wedding gift (no lie) & found some recipes on Bettycrocker.com. (God bless the internet.) I made potato soup in it & it was delicious. And simple. I require simple.
I hate to cook. Have I mentioned that?!
We are going to Ohio this weekend for Payton's 2nd birthday! I am excited to see Eric & Erin's new apartment & hanging out with them. B-rad & I love road trips so I'm excited about that too. I am a procrastinator & have not packed one.single.thing. Sigh.
Back to the jewelry biz, I have 3 shows scheduled for December. (Which is awesome! I have been working SOOO hard!) I have the 2 new girls' training shows the week after Thanksgiving, PLUS I'm having MY renewal show on December 3rd. I'm doing another open house type event. No worries, you will ALL be invited! (Fun, fun!) I can't give it all away now, just be watching your inbox or mailbox for the details!
B-rad is working fast & furious to get done with harvest. At first he didn't think he was going to go with me to Ohio but since we got over 2" of rain, he decided he could. They could probably get back in the field this weekend, but they are coming down the home stretch & just have a few hundred acres left all near home. Hopefully they will be done around Thanksgiving.
I have not even started thinking about Christmas yet. Sigh. While all you early birdies are putting up trees & making jolly, I am debating on whether to even put up my tree. I know, I know - you're in shock & awe. I tell you-the furniture in our house is not laid out good for a tree. And moving things around makes B-rad not happy. It's so much trouble getting all that crap up from the basement, then B-rad doesn't wanna take the containers back down. But then again, I LOVE looking at my pretty tree all lit up at night.
I have only bought 1 gift so far. That's it. I know what I'm getting a couple of people, but actually going out & paying for it - nu uh, haven't done it...
I think that's it for now. I can't think of anything else to bore you with. But just you wait...I'll come up with something - eventually!

Why do you always say, "I know you all don't care?" That's not nice. We do too care, so quit saying that, okay?? Yes, you are busy! Oh, and the daily updating thing for me? I totally need something to do! ;) I have not bought a single thing either, I got the tree up super early, but it all stopped there. I hope you put up your tree, I know it's a pain, but that would be sad to be tree-less for the holidays. ALSO, you forgot to mention that you will be seeing ME and very special movie in less than a week!!! HOLLA!!!
AGREED!! We do care!!! Love that you are a builder and I think that's super cool!
OK-you girls called me out! B-rad said, "good job!"
I just didn't think anyone would care about the mundane stuff we've been doing. But then again...I care about your mundane stuff...so you should totally care about mine! ;)
I CARE TOO!!
I feel super proud that you know Peyton is a qb. :) My work is done here.
You have to put a tree up! It kind of goes along with the holiday! I told ginmommy that I picture myself all angelic, you know, in my pearls and heels, with my kids politely hanging ornaments, we are all sipping hot chocolate, listening to Christmas music.....but it always ends up that I feel more like Sanford & Sons... Ugh. Hassle, but I love the finished product.
1 more day!!!
I care! I love your posts! I blog about random things all.the.time! Like descruction going on around my house. I need to take more pics by the way. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow!
