Nope, we're not dead

HELLOOOOO loyal stalkers! It's been soooo long since I posted, I can't hardly remember all of your names & faces! And I bet you're thinking the same of me hhmmmm?!

We have been SUPER busy! Another one of those weeks where nothing 'blog worthy' has happened - just busy!

The boys finished harvest! YEE-HAW! This means that now I can make B-rad do all the things around the house he's neglected all summer. Yea, sure...

I have been consumed with official jewelry business! I had 3 shows last week! That's a lot considering most people do 1-2 a week. But hey-ya gotta make hay while the sun is shinin'! Ya know that saying, "I'll sleep when I'm dead"? I don't really buy into that one because ya'll know I love me my sleep. So MY saying is, "I'll be cranky until I get some sleep"...

Even though B-rad's done with harvest - there's always something to be done around the barn. Last week he was hauling corn into market to make some moo-lah. Friday night he went over to Jeremy's to play PS3. (So much for working around the house...hmph) PS3 is Play Station 3 to all of you with small children. Just wait-your time is coming....they're gonna want the el-expensivo gaming systems. It.will.happen. My kid is 33 & he has 3 different kinds! Sheesh!

I have been working at a fever pitch to get my Christmas shopping done. I am almost there. I've done a lot of it on-line. I heart Amazon.com & free shipping! For the gifts I haven't purchased yet, I KNOW what I want to buy- just have to get it done. It's a great feeling to get it done so early, but then I get pissed when I see things I have already purchased on sale.

True story-I bought a gift at Kohl's for someone who shall remain nameless. It was $47.99 on sale. I had 15% off so it was $40. Ok-I can deal with that. THEN I got the Penney's ad this weekend. And the EXACT same item was in their ad for $29.99(!) Whaaaaa?! Plus they have their 15%, 20% or 30% off at the register! So guess what Jaime Mac did? Yup, I took that bad boy back & got my money back & I will go to Penney's this week to buy it back at the discounted amount. There's no shame in my game. I have 17 people to buy for. If I can save a little moo-lah here & there I'm gonna do it! It's the thought that counts, right?!
