My very first holiday bazaar

Saturday I did my first ever Holiday Bazaar at my old high school (North Harrison. Go Cougars!). I had never done one before for the jewelry biz, so when another loyal stalker told me about it - I jumped at the chance!
Can I just say that is was super weird walking into the gymnasium. The middle school now was my old high school through my sophomore year. Then we moved into the new high school. I felt so...so...old walking in there. Plus you have such a different perspective now than you did when you were there at 15-16 years old.
So here's my little 'booth'. I was right next to my loyal stalker, Angie, so that made the day go by faster. But I tell ya, my.feet.were.killin'.me! Plus my face hurt from smiling at everyone & being all like, "HI! How are you today?" Ex-haus-ting. Just sayin'...

A close up of my super cute banner I had made! I had some jewelry in a glass case. Then I had some boxes wrapped in ribbon. I also gave away 2-$25 gift certificates for jewelry. I had little survey forms & I had 21 forms that said the person would like to earn some free jewelry and/or hear more about the opportunities with Premier! Next year I will take some jewelry to actually sell. Like I said, I wasn't sure what to expect....but next year it's gonna be all about the dollar.... this year it was all about the networking... Loyal stalker Kiersten was also there with her mom, Angie! She was the BEST helper of all because she went to the concession stand & got me lunch! Psssssh, a girl's gotta eat! The proceeds from the food went to help the 8th graders go on their trip to Washington DC in April. So I was able to help Kiersten because she's going on the trip & my nephew Brady will be going too. (Thanks again, Kiersten!)

Also on Sunday, I had the training show for my new jeweler, Mandy. It went VERY well & she was less nervous about the jewelry biz after she survived her show! I think she's going to be great. The bad news is that her first shows are going to be when we're on vaca...good thing she has an upline to call while I'm gone!

I'm done with shows until January. All I have to do this week is 1 meeting & close 3 shows before Friday. I'm glad to have the break to be honest. I always do this to myself. I work, work, work & run myself ragged, then I have a break & really enjoy that. THEN I realize I have no shows on my calendar & I gotta work my boo-tay off to drum up some business. Eh, it's a vicious cycle!

I ALSO ran into yet another loyal stalker, Robin, who I got to congratulate for getting ENGAGED! I got to give her a hug & see her very pretty ring! She is engaged to Alicia's brother who is also Marcia's son! I don't think I'm ruining a surprise, I mean - she put it on facebook so it's already out into the atmosphere, right?! Of course, I told her I had to welcome her to the fam! Even though Alicia & I are TECHNICALLY related now...I've always considered the Gettelfinger crew part of my fam!
So excited for Robin (oh yea...& Matt too...)! Perhaps we'll get a blog post about it...C'mon Robin!

Sorry to disappoint, but I just don't update on here often. I read your blog, but I just don't keep up with my own. I've really thought about deleting it (GASP!). It was really great to see you, and your table looked wonderful!
