Wedding rehearsal & dinner

Friday night was Erin's wedding rehearsal. I was invited to utilize my creative skillz to put rose petals & favor boxes on the tables. Welllll, when we got there, the woman who owns Kye's (her names is Kye. Who knew?!) told me I couldn't that night. Whaaaa? But she did say, "I will help you tomorrow." Hmph.

So I was feeling all bad because I was invited & essentially was serving no purpose whatsoever. But I meta-morphosized myself into 'rehearsal photographer & kiddo babysitter!'

Erin was trying to figure out how she wanted the guys & gals to walk in. Erin's stepmom, Tina, got red & black bows for the girls hair. Madelyn was going to be the flower girl. Payton's only job was to look pretty!
Oh, my nephew Cole...he has SO much personality! While the pastor was giving everyone instructions, he was right there beside him.
While everyone just looked at them. Lord help us, he's like his daddy...
Erin's step brother, Adam, practicing walking Eric's mom up the aisle.
OK-this was too cute for words! Lora was going to have all her boys walk her down the aisle. Please check out Cole's pose. Like I said, personality!
Erin & her dad, Mike.
Erin had originally wanted her mom AND dad to walk her down the aisle. And Lora didn't want any part of that. Lora's kinda shy-and having to walk up the aisle to light the candle, then walk back down to get back to Erin, THEN to come up the aisle again was going to give her a coronary. So they compromised & Lora stood on the front row waiting for Mike & Erin to get half way up & she walked down & met them.
Parents of the bride.

Once again, can we see who's right in the middle of it all?!
Another super duper cute moment. Madelyn was the flower girl & Cole & another 2 year old boy were ring bearers. Well, uhm, the 2 year old boy was a tad wild. And that's putting it nicely. He was not cooperative so they tried to have Cole walk Hunter AND Madelyn up the aisle, but Hunter didn't want any part of that. It was really cute to see Cole leading Madelyn up the aisle by the hand.
I can only imagine what instructions he's giving her.

I love it when she cooperates.
Ahhh, what a nice picture!
Brady was doing something that is one of my favorite hobbies - bugging Brian. But he made a rookie mistake & let him get a hold on him. Duck & move, Brady...duck & move...
After the rehearsal was over, we headed to Osteria Cozza on 10th street for dinner. Never heard of it? Neither had we. Matter of fact, we didn't even know if there would be a rehearsal dinner until about a month ago. Like I've said - Erin had some trouble with some people cooperating with wedding plans... Then we find out there was going to be a dinner, but we didn't know the name. Last week we heard it was 'something' coza, so I looked it up on my super cool iPhone & it found a place called Osteria Cozza & eureka! We had a name!

Eric's mom got a cute cake.
For some reason, Cole was all about me at the dinner so he had to sit down by me. Then he was hugging on me & I can't resist a chance to document at one point in his life -he did love me. Ya know-when he's like 18 & can't stand anyone? I will totally pull these pics out & show him proof. (Side note-Tracey-I forgot to take pics of my black nails. This is as close as your gonna get!)
Erin & her bff, the matron of honor Stefany.
Mike & Payton
Madelyn was glad to see her daddy.
We had our own little room at the restaurant which was nice. That had a mini-buffet set up with pasta items.
UHM, see anything wrong with this picture?!
Erin & her momma. Check out that jewelry! It looks great on them!
Lora, Erin & Brian
Mike, Erin & Tina
Madelyn had put on Erin's shoes. And Erin wears hella high heels. And Madelyn was clomping, clomping, clomping around. The noise totally got on my nerves...but she was cute...
Derik couldn't have cared less if the place burned down around him. I don't know what he was doing on his phone. But he may have been texting someone. Like a girl...he has a girlfriend now, ya know?!
Madelyn thoroughly enjoyed the bread dipped in garlic sauce. Erin, Payton & I. I had to prove I was there!
