Labor Day weekend

So we went to the lake for the 3 day holiday weekend. Brad's grandma & 2 uncles & aunt came to spend the time with us too.Brian wanted to take us for an evening cruise on his houseboat. Miss Madelyn has to wear her life jacket! It's hard for her to turn her head 'cuz the jacket comes up around her neck. But would SOMEONE please tell her mother that she needs to have this babies hair trimmed up? Her hair is getting pretty long & it is all over the place! She won't listen to me. What the heck? Like I don't know about babies & hair & such?! Gah!
Brad & Brady were on the jet ski as we were cruising down the lake. Brad LOVES when Brady rides with him because Brady doesn't scream at him to: "Slow down! Don't go in circles! Don't jump that wave! Don't throw me off!" So they were showing off, er I mean, riding the jet ski around the houseboat. They kept getting closer & closer & finally Brad caught the air just right & soaked us all. I've never seen people move that fast in my life (including me!) We had cell phones & cameras & people drenched! It wasn't funny at the time, but we were able to laugh about it a little bit later. Brad's uncle had jeans on that got soaked, he told Brad it only took them 2 days to dry out.

On Sunday, Brian & Lora took their houseboat out to an island on the lake. It's called "Sandy Beach", but they should call it orange mud beach. There were a TON of people there. And my nephews never meet a stranger! Notice how Cole is playing with a chick?!

Ah, a girl after my own heart! Barbies!! Madelyn loves Brian (her papaw). Like loves him SO much that if ANYONE else is holding her & he walks up, she wants him. Period. I tell him that I can't stand it. And ya know what? He loves it that I can't stand it!
