Ok, so I noticed it has been one whole month since I posted. Wow. Doesn't feel like that long. The scary thing is that I haven't missed it. I'm not constantly running my brain ragged trying to think of things to blog about. I'm not worrying about taking 9,000 pics to make sure I get a great one for the blog. I'm sad to say it - but it's true & ya'll know how I am....
In 'too much information' news: I feel like I'm doing MUCH better with my horrid pms symptoms. This is my second month of new & improved pills & my symptoms have been nearly non-existent. OF COURSE I have my moments, but they've been contained to the week leading up to Aunt Flo coming rather than 2-3 weeks before. I'm starting to feel more like myself again personality wise. Thank goodness because that chick was getting on my last nerve.
What we've been up to.... UHM, B-rad is in the 'I don't have time' & 'I just wanna get done stage' ALREADY. Seriously. He hasn't even started planting yet....just getting everything ready to go.
I have been cooking. I KNOW, RIGHT?! Like actually cooking dinners that have ingredients & don't just come from a box w/ noodles & seasoning. Hamburger helper IS my bff....
Now, I didn't say I'm ENJOYING the cooking...because I'm totally not. Part of the 'hating' cooking process is trying to figure out what to make for dinner. BLAH. I've made lots of things I've seen on Pinterest. I have also started going to the grocery once a week & planning my meals. Like I sit down & painstakingly think about what to cook every.single.night. It's harder than you think. Then I make my grocery list based on what ingredients I need. I find that I spend less time in the store & less money (which is always a great thing!)
I'm still working on little things here & there in my effort to re-decorate the house. I went to Hobby Lobby armed with a $100 gift card (HOLLA!) & it was 1/2 off week for 'glass'. I found these colored glass vases & thought they would go great against my fabric wall. (Tracey I thought about you & your glass stuff in your kitchen!)
I also painted the dining room. Like all by myself. This may not sound impressive - but it is. I'm horribly impatient.

The fabric doesn't 'pop' as much as it did on the white, but it's PURPLE, people...what's NOT to love?! I can't decide if B-rad really, really loves me & wants me to be happy because he let me paint it purple (& kitchen to follow) or he just doesn't care because he's not home that often?!
I went to birthday party a couple of weeks ago for Miss Nora who was turning two. Oh my I love going to stuff like this. Of course I'm appreciative when families love us enough to invite us to their childrens parties, because it also means they love me enough to remind me why I don't want kids of my own. Priceless.
It was a Strawberry Shortcake themed par-tay.... complete with Chocolate dipped strawberries. Jake had like 5 on his plate. He did the right thing & smiled on cue when I said, 'Jake, look at me!'...but I totally got him in trouble when his mom wanted to see the pic. My bad...
Nora is a gal after my own heart & LOVES her accessories. I'm proud that my friends are raising her right. I got her a TON of jewelry. Necklaces, bracelets & rings. She wasn't real sure about the bracelets at first...
but then realized this was a good thing...
Just this week I went to another class at Uptown Art! I am very excited that the New Albany studio opens soon! Denise - I'm blaming this obsession on you!
There was a group of four of us that went.
The finished product.: "Rainy Day Girl".
Until next month?!...
